Interclub Competition with Portarlington, Adamstown, Greenhills Tae Kwon-Do

Portarlington Taekwon Do School played host to Adamstown & Greenhill's Taekwon do schools for some friendly competition on Saturday 13th November. Families and friends all turned out in support of the competitors providing a great atmosphere for the afternoon while refreshments were provided by families from Portarlington which were very welcome during the break.
The day was a great success as 37 members from yellow tip to Red belt competed in 19 sparring bouts, prizes were awarded for 1st & 2nd place. All members gained valuable sparring experience especially those who had not yet had the opportunity to enter competition.
Mr. Nigel Stobie would like to give special thanks to Mr. Tomas Smyth, Mr. Ray Curran, Mr. Seán Heneghan & Mr. Jason Floody who gave their time on the day to officiate and to Master Val Douglas for bringing his members to Portarlington for the day.
